The Shipibos women create most of the artesania. They create beautiful pottery, textiles and jewelry. The designs that they stitch and paint are visual songs representing the cosmic vision of the Shipibo world, and exucite interchance between the visual representation of energy and form and the ceremonial songs called Icaros. The Shipibo tribes are also the masters of the ayahuasca, a powerful Amazonian psychedelic brew.
